Verify is the person behind the screen is real and genuine

Overview

Liveness Check requires the user to take a 3 seconds video selfie in which he moves the camera closer to his face. Biometrid will then run specific checks to determine if the person in the selfie is a live human.

If Liveness Check is paired with Face Match, they will run simultaneously, requiring the user to take only one selfie.

The Liveness Check is a critical addition to an identity verification procedure as it establishes the physical presence of the user and that he is a real, genuine human. This brings a high level of security that can not be easily broken.

Liveness detection can be performed from any modern device with a frontal camera of 3mp and up.
